This handcrafted red oak box doesn’t have any latches or hooks to be seen but the lid won’t seem come off. You can wiggle it and pull all you like but it won’t open unless you know the secret. Just put it on the table and give it little spin and the locking mechanism unlatches allowing the top to be removed.

Inside are 4 brass pins and no matter which way the box is turned there are always enough pins locking the lid in place . Just a light spin, one revolution is all it takes for the centripetal force to throw the pins to the outside and unlock the lid. It looks like magic when its put on the table and spun and the lid suddenly slides off with ease!

It measures 4 inches in all directions
