I was born and raised near Albany New York by two very artistic parents who never hesitated to provide me with the tools and materials to create whatever inspired me at the time. After highschool I got a job as a laborer for an outfit of stone masons where over the next few years I learned the core values of building accurately and the traditional skills to shape stone with hammer and chisel. These new skills set fire to my love for sculpture and I led me to Vermont where I pulled my first pieces of marble down from the snowy mountains and started learning figure and architectural sculpture in marble. I continued working as a stone mason and sculptor for the next 20 years while continuing to develop other skills from metalworking and woodworking to electronics and computer programing. I currently live and work in Saratoga Springs New York where I work to merge the skills I have spent my life learning to be able to readily create whatever I am capable of imagining.
